Putting the Pieces Together – I’m Worth It!

- A funny, funny reminder that I’ve been getting almost daily since September on my mobile devices… this ONE particular video’s title is “Are you WORTH It?” LOL!
Riddle – A veiled meaning, put forth as a puzzle to be solved requiring ingenuity in ascertaining its answer or meaning, typically presented as a game.
The universe speaks to me in riddles…because usually it’s only then that I finally choose to listen.
I ask for clarification instead of creating chaos in my life. It’s fun, easy and helps me on my path…..keeping me moving forward, albeit stumbling at times. My mantra has come to be,”Please show me the things that I don’t want to see in myself.”
There have been several things recently, that I have been stubbornly ignoring ….so it seems.
Here’s what I was manifesting to clue me into looking closer:
- Phone / Computer glitches.
- A particular word or phrase appearing over and over to me.
- A particular incident crossing my mind several times.
- An out-of-the-ordinary physical symptom.
- All of the above!

- One of my paintings…
Right now, I am currently remembering (after reminders from the Higher Self) to::
- Make painting a priority…it’s what brings me the most joy! Stop being stingy with myself! I am worth it!
- Take care of my physical body! (I am a complete work in progress here, kids!) This is the one body that I have here on Earth right now…value it and it will value me. I just recently figured out that I have been getting “nudged” to take yoga for the past 5 YEARS apparently! Which brings me to….
- Be patient with myself! Relax…laugh at myself. Life is not so serious. I laughed when I saw all the ways Spirit had attempted to show me the things I wasn’t ready to see at the time.
So yayyyyy for seeing the bigger picture no matter how long it takes. We are all a work in progress. There is no competition in spirituality….. especially when it comes to myself.
By the way….my to-do list is getting smaller than my to-be list. I just made blooming baked apples and the house smells super-delicious. I am drinking a big glass of lemon water and am now off for a walk in the sunshine on this crisp fall day with my sweetheart. Do you know why? Because I am worth it!!!

Trepidation or Trust?
I recently woke up with the word trepidation in my head and thoughts.
Trepidation – Noun: a feeling of fear or agitation about something that may happen:
Trust – Noun: confident expectation of something
I realized trepidation has been an enormous word in my life. It has so many connections to so many things going on. I recently had to go to Florida to have my Mom tested for declining mental capacity. It was a daunting task and I was really worried about the outcome. Then it occurred to me that there were a lot of situations in my life that this also applies to.
Mom
My spiritual journey
My personal life
My financial situation
All of the unknowns I tend to worry about
All of these situations have had trepidation involved for me. I can say that all of the self-work and my spiritual journey have made things a lot less troublesome and scary in my life. I have been opening myself up to Trust and it has become an even more amazing journey.
I have been drawn, pushed or shoved – not always by choice – to take classes even when I did not know why or what I would do after taking them. Afterward, I’ve had issues with why I did and what I should be doing with them, not meeting expectations of whomever (mostly myself). I’ve come to realize over the last year or so, with help and gentle guidance from several soul family members and spiritual guides, to try not to have expectations of what I should be doing but rather take in all of the tools I have been gifted and move myself further on my journey. To Trust!!! I feel that each class I have taken and every person with whom I have come in contact along this journey has been instrumental in opening doors that I didn’t even know existed. Even though I currently don’t practice on others or teach any of the modalities I’ve learned over the last several years, that doesn’t mean that I haven’t benefited or grown from them. Not sure where this journey will lead me next… but I’m certain it will be even more amazing than it already is!
I am learning to trust myself in ways that I never thought I would. It has been a slow process but I’m gaining confidence. Letting go of my story has been one of the biggest stumbling blocks, and I have worked very consistently to get past it all. Still have a ways to go, but I’m gaining personal and spiritual growth and trust along the way. This spiritual journey has been amazing, and I’ve begun to allow it to steer me in the direction I am supposed to go. I am happier now than I have been in a very long time! A lot less trepidation…and a lot more trust in my life.
Before leaving for Florida, I put together a creation statement for my mom, my family and myself – if all of the higher selves will accept it, “that everything comes together for my Mom and my family in the way it is supposed to be in the easiest and best way for all and that all of the issues that my family will face also be for our highest and best with grace and ease, love and harmony…” I meditated, sent unconditional love to myself and to all involved. My thoughts then were that everything would be okay and will unfold as they should with grace and ease and harmony and love and joy, without distress and pain to any of us. With this process I moved from trepidation to trust. I allowed myself to trust. The outcome has been amazing.
With love and trust may we all continue to move forward with our Journeys.

I Am
I am the Wholeness
The All, the One.
I am the Goddess
And God within.
I am Sophia,
Lilith, Magdalene.
I am eternal
And always have been.
I am Isis,
Pélé, Kali.
I am that am
And ever will be.
I am Jesus,
Buddha, Brahman.
I am the light,
The dark and between.
I am life,
Love, energy.
I am!

Spiritual Wisdom: Much More Than Knowledge
I have been on a spiritual journey of sorts since I was 19, after taking my first Reiki class and reading a few key books that opened up my mind and soul to the possibilities of understanding spiritual wisdom that has yet to be scientifically explained. This metaphysical world fascinated me, and I dove in to learn as much as a could about topics such as energy healing, law of attraction, reprogramming the subconscious mind and accessing intuition.
After 20 years of exploring and growing on this path, I’ve come across many ah-ha’s and many understandings that often would dispel previously held beliefs. I want to share a couple of experiences that you or others may be having that may support you.
Spiritual wisdom is much more than knowledge! I’ve read a ton of books, listened to well-respected/well-known spiritual teachers, taken umpteen classes and then would wonder why after all these teachings and knowledge, nothing was really changing. All of the understandings and experiences I had were wonderful, but I really only had intellectual understandings, because I did not fully incorporate or practice what I learned, but instead would be stuck in my mental mind. I did not impact much change on an energetic level. For example, I understood the concepts of “The Law of Attraction” inside and out and even would apply it “sometimes”, but until I really began to immerse myself into the law of attraction as a daily, even hourly practice, it would just remain an understanding. It was helpful to have information about these concepts, but wasn’t making the improvements I was hoping for until I actually deepened my experience and began to apply the information daily and energetically.
There is no end to uncover what needs healing if you keep digging. In healing, you may have heard the term, “peeling away layers of the onion,” meaning layer by layer we address healing around all the negative or traumatic events we’ve endured. Well, let me shed some light on this topic. There are an infinite number of layers that we can continue to peel and heal! Think about the eons of past lives you have had and all the trauma and drama you’ve experienced. After many years of peeling my onion, it felt like there was no end in sight. I was disheartened, as there was issue after issue which I recognized created my limiting beliefs, negative emotions and energetic blocks.
Once I stopped looking into what needed “fixing” in my past and started to invest my energy and my time on what I wanted to create in the present and the future, it was a game changer for me. I began to manifest and attract what I wanted in life. I began to see my choices from an empowered perspective versus being a victim of my circumstances from the past. I now get to choose from a place of creating as I no longer seek to “heal” the past. I know that I am perfect just the way I am and so are you! I powerfully know that I create my life with the choices I make, and in doing so, the past crap just dissolves away because it can no longer live in the light that I have chosen to live in.
There are many ah-ha moments along the path and these are a couple that have been highlighted for me over the past year or so. Just remember to trust yourself along the way, as all the truth and wisdom resides within you, not without.

Noticing the Spiritual Road Signs
These words are from Giordano Bruno’s Heroic Frenzies:
Through bitter sweetness and delightful pain, I fall to the center and am drawn up toward the sky; necessity constrains me while the good leads me on; fate draws me in to the abyss, while counsel uplifts me; desire spurs me on, while fear bridles me; care burns me and keeps me long in peril.
What straight or devious path will give me peace, and free me from discord, if the one rejects me so, and the other invites me?
The ascent takes place in the soul by the vigor and impulse of the wings, which are the intellect and the will. It is by these faculties that the soul naturally turns and fixes its gaze toward God as upon the sovereign good and primary truth, the absolute goodness and beauty; just as every natural thing has a regressive impulse toward its own origin, and a progressive impulse toward its own end and perfection, as Empedocles had well explained, to whose opinion I think Nolan refers in the following octave:
It happens that the sun returns to its point of departure, and its diffusive light returns to its source; and what belongs to the earth falls back to the earth; and the rivers issuing from the sea flow again to the sea, and desires aspire to the place from which they have drawn their life and breath. In the same way, born from my goddess, my every thought to my goddess must return…
It has always amazed me how many relevant “road signs” exist in our literature. Just there, sitting in the open waiting to be recognized! Filtered through our own perspectives, their meanings change given the experience and enlightenment of the observer. It seems to me that almost everything I read has a remembrance, a moral, or seems to point me on my way.
So back to Giordano, I have always known his work. His words sing to me. His writings were resurrected in to the mainstream when Deborah Harkness used the line “Desire urges me on, as fear bridles me,” in A Discovery of Witches. She stated in her book, “…it explains everything that happens in the world, doesn’t it?” I am inclined to agree. It is interesting to consider, does Trinity Energy Progression or other spiritual practices increase our ability to recognize these signs in the literature and other places? Do these practices cause us to desire less….. or do they change what it is we desire? I am undecided. But words have always resonated with me, sometimes given me a voice when I felt I didn’t have one. For me they can transcend me, just as Trinity does. When my nephew died (I was enrolled in the Trinity practitioners class at the time), Giordano’s words came back to me and sang in my head. And because of Angela’s recent Living the Shift Google Hangout on Accepting and Embracing Transition and Death, I found myself once again seeking out my old friend. I decided to share these words, in case they resonate with someone else. If we keep our minds open, we realize the “road signs” are everywhere.
Then again, it IS all illusion… but that is a discussion for another time…
