Seeing the Miracles in Disappointment

                          Rue in bloom.

Sometimes in life –  heck, a lot of times in life! – we get frustrated with the way things are going. We have it in our minds that life should be one way, and instead, life looks anything but that vision at our present moment in time. “What have I done wrong?” we wail at the Universe. “I’m a good person, why aren’t things working out like I expect them to?” If you’re like me, most of the times there is no answer. I’ll try to console myself with the sayings “Everything happens for reason,” and “Things happen in Divine timing,” but in truth I’m just frustrated and feeling forsaken and unloved.

I usually wind up turning the situation around, swallowing my disappointments and trying to ignore the hollowness and ache of unworthiness deep inside me until I can be grateful for what I do have. Typically, this involves a healthy dose of nature. Nothing turns my mood around faster than observing all of the miracles around me every day in the form of the plants, insects, and creatures roaming this Earth!

Those who know me know that I raise butterflies. It started out as a love for tabouli and a desire to make my own. I dutifully set out a few parsley plants and waited for them to grow. They did indeed grow. Unfortunately, I wasn’t the only one who enjoyed parsley! One day, I came out to find my parsley plants covered in caterpillars.  At first, I wasn’t too happy with this outcome. But, after doing some research, I determined that the caterpillars were those of the Black Swallowtail butterfly and I felt honored to provide them with a source of food. From that point on, I kept parsley plants for the butterflies so that they could leave their eggs and start the cycle anew each year.

Each summer I would eagerly await the arrival of my butterflies and their eggs.  I planted more plants they enjoyed such as rue, dill, and fennel in addition to the parsley, and filled my garden with rich nectar sources. When the baby caterpillars emerged, I would bring them inside and feed and care for them until they made their chrysalises. Those that emerged from the chrysalis during the season were released back into the world, and those that decided they wanted to wait until next year to see the world overwintered inside my house so as to protect them from predators and the cold weather.

This had been an annual cycle for me for several years until 2016.  I waited and waited all summer long in 2016, but no caterpillars appeared. To say I was crushed is putting it mildly.  I was heartbroken.  The fact that several other people I knew found caterpillars when they hadn’t ever had any before seemed like salt in the wound. As pleased as I was for them, I felt my own lack of caterpillars keenly. One person asked me to “adopt” some almost full grown caterpillars late in the season that then overwintered with me. It helped to ease the ache, nevertheless I was still very sad over not having any of my own to raise and care for.

Fast forward to now, Spring 2017.  In an unusual twist, I found five baby caterpillars on my rue recently. This is highly unusual since in years past I haven’t had caterpillars until the late summer. My heart was filled with joy! I hadn’t been forsaken after all!  It seemed the Universe did still want me to take care of and protect these tiny members of the natural world. Once I’d come down from my euphoric state, it occurred to me that there must have been a reason that I hadn’t had any caterpillars to raise in 2016. Almost as soon as I had formed that thought, the answer came to me. In 2016 I’d been helping a friend through a really tough time, one that required lots of nurturing and support in addition to all of my normal hectic daily routines. With that realization, my whole perspective changed. I’m still sad that I didn’t have my own caterpillars to raise that year, but I’m grateful that I was given the time to focus on nurturing someone else who greatly needed it. Plus, I was still provided with some of my little ones to adopt at a stage in their lives when they wouldn’t require much from me. Truly, it was the best way the whole situation could have unfolded, even if I didn’t realize it at the time.

As a result of this little life lesson, the next time something doesn’t turn out the way I had hoped, I plan to stop and take a moment to thank the Universe for whatever else is in store for me in the future that might not have happened if I had gotten whatever it was that I had been hoping for.  Because I’m sure that whatever it is will be just what is needed.

Spirituality in Trips to the Grocery Store

One of the many ways that my Trinity Energy Progression practice has helped me change is how I experience my trips to the grocery store. I use to view these trips as another errand that I didn’t particularly enjoy. First, there would be the crowded parking lot, the initial glimpse of the extra time (I didn’t have) that this errand would take. The next indication was the dearth of carts, with only wobbly-wheeled ones left for navigating the crowded aisles of the store. But the produce was so colorful that I would feel a renewed sense of joy, only to find the avocados were as hard as rock and the store was out of organic spinach as well as my favorite coconut milk, while having a bountiful assortment of “healthy sweets” (chocolate-covered everything) and lots of really salty “healthy snacks” as an alternative  for those with a sugar “addiction” like me. By the time I maneuvered around the store and made my way to the check-out line, I felt a combination of guilt, frustration, pride, and anticipation for what I had chosen to buy (or not buy) only to realize that I had left my “save the Earth” shopping bags in the car when I had finally found a parking place. Guilt completely overtook me as I knew I would not go back to my car to get them.

As I would approach the check-out lines, I would not be “feeling the love” for myself or for much of anything else while I was trying to quickly calculate which line would have the least wait time based on the number of people in line and the number of items in their carts, as well both the customers’ and cashiers’ commitment to take the check-out process “seriously.” And to determine who would do everything as quickly as humanly possible while I judged their success or lack thereof, especially when I more often than not chose the wrong/slowest line. Waiting in line was the most challenging part of the trip for me.

I was an undergraduate English major in college, so when I think about waiting, I often think about Samuel Beckett’s play “Waiting for Godot.” It is a play about two men waiting to meet Godot, who never comes. It always makes me think about how much time we can spend waiting for the future, or waiting for things that never happen. On another level, the play is about how time is part of our humanness, and how to make time matter while recognizing its fleeting nature. It is also about the paradox of time and how we can change our perception of the passing of time – how time “flies”and feels “time-less” when we are enjoying ourselves, and seems to “stop in its tracks” when we aren’t. Time “stopped in its tracks” for me at the grocery store.

In one of Eckart Tolle’s YouTube videos “Waiting with Presence,” he talks about how the old state of consciousness is waiting for the next thing whereas the new state of consciousness is not really waiting, just being where you are and enjoying that. As I have come to understand in my Trinity practice, everything in the moment is just the way it is – perfect! I now see this stopping of time as often the result of the past and future “crowding out” the Now, whereas time “flying” and feeling “time-less” is the expansiveness of being in the NOW, fully being where you are in the moment.

The ongoing journey with my practice has changed my grocery shopping trips (among other things) into a journey in itself, as I gave up waiting as a state of mind. I now see waiting as an opportunity to be present, and think of waiting as a gift – the gift of time to be present and free of judgment. I also see waiting as a time to connect, not just within me as part of my own spiritual practice. In an interview with Ram Dass by Eliot Jay Rosen, he asked Ram Dass about doing your spiritual practice while waiting in line at the bank. Ram Dass replied:

“Exactly. But you’re not doing a spiritual practice that involves going away from waiting in line at the bank. What I used to do is wait in line and I’d do mantra or breathing. I’d go into my vipassana meditation. But now I’m interested in whether waiting in line at the bank can itself be the thing. I notice my impatience, notice the feeling in my feet as I am standing there, notice the different levels of reality of the people I’m looking at. Am I seeing a bank teller or am I seeing the Divine Mother as a bank teller? I allow myself to play with the moment more, still dealing with the stuff of the moment rather than going away.”

Going to the grocery store is no longer just a trip for me where I have to wait in line. I especially like Eckart Tolle’s suggested response to someone who apologizes about having kept them waiting: “That’s all right, I wasn’t waiting. I was just standing there enjoying myself – in joy in myself.” This is now my grocery store journey where I embrace the waiting without judgment, and experience love and gratitude for being connected in the moment, for this moment. I play with the moment. I rarely forget my “save the Earth” shopping bags, but when I do, I joyfully go back to my car for them!

To Each… Their Own Journey

My awakening started 3 years ago. However, when I say those words, I know that this has been coming for many, many years before that pivotal moment 3 years ago.

It was more than just a realization for me. It was a deep pull inward that kept calling me to pay attention to it. My dreams were filled with faces, and words, and vivid ethereal landscapes and colors so bright I could not define them as any colors I have seen here in the 3D. Something in me had changed, and I could not describe it to anyone. I felt alone.  Then came Ezekiel. A strong and gentle guide. He kept prodding me forward. Kept saying his name to me. Ezekiel guided me and I eventually listened. At first, I was impatient with him. I realize now that it wasn’t until I let go and allowed him to really guide me that this is when I started to really listen and pay attention.  He guided me to Angela’s web site.  For many of us it is a deep pull like what I experienced, for some it manifests as an illness, or trauma of some kind that pulls at  the soul until you can no longer deny it. It is my understanding that each soul having their own journey, experiences their awakening in their own unique way. Each soul having their own pathway to remember. Each soul unique in their own expression of their experience.

My soul felt a shift to find my soul family. To find my path. To learn as much as I could because I yearned for it. I have yearned for something greater and more expansive since I was knee high, maybe smaller. I could at a very young age feel things and see things I understood others around me could not. The transitioning of a butterfly from our world to the next, I could feel its last breath. The watchers, the tall dark shadow people or spirits. They came and stood over me or near me. They would talk to me during dream state and in waking state. I shut it all down for a while, protecting myself until I was ready to explore this side of me.

The information came slowly at first; I was being guided by many now. Their names do not matter. Little waves of dots connecting a fine path that lead me here… To this moment. To this day. I have experienced many moments, some small, some big yet always guiding me and connecting me in some way to another doorway that eventually leads to another doorway and then another. Funny thing is that the learning I yearned for and how I understand it to be now is really known to me now as remembering who I am. Remembering the depth of myself, my worth, my soul path. The soul family that I have been reunited with here and in other avenues have given me so many gifts, many moments of remembering on so many levels. One such moment happened while on retreat on Orcas Island with the Trinity family.

I was guided to go, knowing that this would be an expansive moment for the group, for the collective and yes for me as well. I was not prepared for what came forward. It presented itself at first in a way that overwhelmed me physically and emotionally. I panicked. This was a moment during group meditation. I was surrounded by my soul family and in the midst of my panic attack which was a 3D moment, I looked towards Angela and connected in and there she was, there they all were supporting me forward.

During this meditation I saw a large being. He had a strong masculine presence and he shared with me, that there was another being coming soon. He asked me if I was open to this moment and to this being and I acknowledged that I was. The being had his back to me. I could not see his face but he was rather tall with really wide shoulders. He was bald. Sort of reminded me of Mr. Clean but on a much grander level. 🙂

His presence resonated as “I am the protector.”

I shared this with the group and moved on with our day together.

Nicole and I shared a room during the retreat. The last night of our retreat, after we had all settled in for the night, Nicole was meditating I went into my own space again. A space I enjoy going into every night and morning, meditative and beautiful. In that moment  I felt a strong shift in the room, nothing like I have ever felt before! I looked up and around. Lifted my head to get a better view and there they were. Flowing in waves through the walls towards me. From each side on every angle they were coming and as they came, or as I understand now, as the energy came it melded through me and then into my core. The energy electric as it held me in an immobile state for 20 minutes or more… with every wave, the electric pulse surged through me. With every surge, the pulse became stronger. It never hurt me. It only held me immobile until the clearing subsided. I could see the energy coming in from the forest outside of the house we were in and into the room and then into me. As the energy pulses came I could barely get out a few sentences. When I could I spoke to Nicole and described what I was feeling. She helped me through the moment, as the energies were intense and my body felt as if it were being gently electrocuted. I was surrounded in a loving embrace. His name…Metatron. The next day, as I woke from a blissful sleep, I was not the same. I had been given a gift. That gift did not truly reveal itself until my birthday several months later. I now call that gift “The Crackle.” It comes to me as an electric surge, powerful and filled with love. It helps me acknowledge what is true for me to understand and if concentrated on another soul or myself, it helps me heal them or myself.

I share this with you all now, because I understand this to be a gift given to me… yet it is something I have always had from many lifetimes past. This is my journey and I share my understanding and guidance with you knowing that your journey is so uniquely different and filled with your own pathways leading you to your own awakening and gifts, however it manifests to you. Namaste family. I love you all dearly!

Creation – The Cellular Connection

Purity of cellular creationThe origin of the word create is Latin meaning “to produce.” But it’s the Late Middle English definition, “form out of nothing,” that I prefer, because it sums up my feelings about creating, creation and creativity. It all comes seemingly from nothing.

Or does it?

Today, in my opinion, creation takes the form of how we define it. The rules that are applied to the energy determine what we create. I think of taking Playdoh and forcing it through a plastic form to create a shape. Extruding the Playdoh into a shape allows us to create that shape. What a fun idea!

Now in taking that a step further to more “grown up” fundamentals, let’s create a $10,000 balance in my bank account. What “rules” do I access, and how do I manipulate the energy to create this balance? Let’s see… lots of hard work and effort? Robbing a bank? Winning the lottery? Finding the money in an old purse? These rules really seem to make the creation process complicated and effort intensive. OK, so let’s simplify it some more and just have the balance appear in my account. Great! That sounds clear and straightforward. But is it? Would I trust that the money really was mine? Would I be afraid that someone would discover it was an error and take the money back, since by some “rules,” I clearly didn’t “earn” it (and what’s earning and who defines when something is “earned,” anyway)? So, it is my understanding that when we create, we do so through belief (which includes rules and definitions) as well as trust in that creation here. For anything! A belief and trust in the perceived creation process is necessary.

So what would happen if we eliminated the need for the rules and definitions? And just knowing something is created, freely and unencumbered by any rules or processes? So in keeping with the positive affirmation principle, I began looking for words to express this type of creation. All the words seemed to define it in terms of lack of it. Like UNdefined or ruleLESS. My thoughts led me to phones without wires, wireless, again LESS. Then it hit me that would be a “cellular” phone. Ding! Ding! Ding! It’s creation from the cellular level. Free from rules, definitions, beliefs, processes or emotions.Creation based only on universal unconditional perfect love is Cellular Love. That’s the ultimate in creative freedom.

I love the scientific law that “Energy can neither be created nor destroyed; rather, it transforms from one form to another.”

Creation just rearranges how our current “energy” is expressed. Imagine being able to express your energy in ways that are free from the rules and definitions? How would that change everything? Spend some time exploring the ramifications of how you define or limit your creativity and ultimately your creations with rules, definitions, beliefs, processes, and emotions. I found it to be almost overwhelming, without even considering the intricacies of the interdependencies of everything! The picture I saw was quite the tangled knot. It was way too much to undo. So rather than fix the current creative chaos, simply create cellularly, pure in every moment!

Your “cellular plan” has unlimited data, talk and text – naturally…. so, go create!!

Messages and Channelings: Avoid Getting Lost in Translation

From the movie Arrival, c/o Sony Pictures

Before reading on, please take a minute and look at the image to the right. Really look at it, feel it. What does it mean to you? Then hold on to that perception and proceed…

I am in love with the Sony Pictures’ movie Arrival, for so, so many reasons; mostly because the exact topic of this blog has been floating out there, pinging me to write it, and the movie gave me a great illustration to help me along! (NOTE: If you’ve not seen it and are on an active journey of spiritual consciousness, I HIGHLY recommend you do!)

Ask a dozen different people the question above, and you’ll most likely get a dozen different answers. Some will say, “I recognize that… it’s from the movie Arrival; it’s part of that heptapod/alien language!”

And yet, not everyone has seen that movie in their current consciousness. So, instead, one might say, “Oh, this is just a psychology blot test!” Some could see a ring; some could see a planet getting hit by an asteroid; some could see an eyeball; some could just see a “mistake,” maybe someone’s pen or marker exploding while drawing a circle.

Are any of them really incorrect? They are what they are based on an individual’s filters via their own journey/life, their level of education, their level of consciousness, their level of exposure (and to what they’ve been exposed)… the list goes on.

All of this feeds in to the preponderance of messages and channelings as they are widespread in the spiritual community. Though some are very useful, here are a few pointers of which to be conscious to help you navigate through (and pointers for those who are providing them), to prevent you getting lost in translation:

The Dilution of Words

At the very fundamental level, words are a tool we have created in communicating our feelings, thoughts, and understandings in the amnesia of separation; it’s when we actively access our Oneness that we have fluid and clear understanding. However, another interesting concept I’d never consciously considered before in the movie Arrival is a discussion on how the words we learn/use form the thoughts in our heads… vs. the other way around. So… if we don’t have the words, we don’t know what or how to think of something… I would add that eventually, it forces us more into the place of feeling to understand.

There are more and more “words” out here discussing concepts, understandings, remembrances on a much larger consciousness scale… and yet, often no matter how many words we use, they still fall short of the full understanding. In addition, remember that when one individual tells another individual concepts via words, the concept is immediately diluted, as the words one individual uses is based on their own framework of understanding, their experience, education, exposure, and judgments. Then, when another person reads or hears them… they again take in the words based on THEIR own experience, understanding, education, exposure, and adjustments. As it gets passed on by words… well, you see how this can get diluted VERY quickly! Have you ever played a game of Telephone? This is EXACTLY what happens!

In the spiritual arena, this has continually proven itself to be a limitation, and does so more and more as we continue to awaken and remember. Moreso than ever before, we’re inundated with words, words, words; if we’re remembering Oneness, telepathy, and seamless connection… then why are we communicating with more words than ever?
I myself am a wordsmith… I’ve always loved words and the art with which we can use them! However, as I’ve progressed more and more on my remembrance and consciousness, I’ve had the desire to use them less and less. I set all of my communications – clients, students, public audiences (even including this blog) – to easily and openly communicate the understanding in Oneness (or what some would call telepathically), with far more than the words. I always tell my students that I physically say far less than they think I say, because the Oneness/telepathy is something the mind automatically wants to translate as words inside, too, until it just goes to the heart/spirit… and perceives it as “coming in” that way, vs. something that was translated by the individual. One time, an individual who was assisting me during class apparently sat back and observed this claim of mine throughout (unbeknownst to me), as she had been through the class and assisted me several times before. Afterward, she told me, “You know what? You it is so true about you not saying as much as many THINK you say… so cool to consciously observe what was happening with the verbal simply reinforcing the Oneness-based “reminder” of the material. Pretty amazing stuff!”

(And I DO see the irony of this wordy blog to talk about the importance of letting go of words as our primary method of communication! LOL)

In the spiritual/psychic arena, it’s important to note that EVERYONE who channels a message is doing so with their own filter of words, in an effort to bring the understanding in to the physical. I experienced that when I first had what I call my Grand Awakening, and had many, many interactions with different faces of the Divine (or, as many call them, guides). I asked the Elohim with whom I’d had much interaction about channeling. I wanted to try it, and asked to be shown (remember) how to do so. I could “see” and feel the knowing of the being; however, when I just “gave up” my consciousness to allow that to “come through”… what came through was gibberish. I was told that channeling is ALWAYS a combination effort, of the being(s) or faces of the Divine that are coming through and the filter of the individual doing the channeling. This is the case whether it’s simply written or typed… or if the individual does the whole “old school” way of channeling by allowing a being to “step in,” so to speak. They are still speaking words through the individual’s perception. Now, there are some very practiced, very adept channelers that insert very little of their own perspective… but it’s always there. Otherwise, it wouldn’t “come through.”

Further Dilution on Translation

I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve meant one thing, said it in a way that I believed to be precise… just to have someone else misquote me or re-word what I said in a completely different way! The intention is typicallly pure; however, they re-tell the concept through the filter of where and who THEY are! This is a simple example of translation: When one person takes in what someone/something else says, translates it via their own filters of understanding, and relays the same message out as a different message in the language of the teller. Another game of Telephone!

This happens a LOT in the spiritual world, with healers, psychics, and channelers. This is how it happens (and the way we’ve generally done it for a long time): The ego, believing itself to be “adding value” to the interation/session, wants to translate through its own filter. Not so! One of the very first things I was guided when I started working with others was, DON’T TRANSLATE!  If I see a pen, then I tell the other person I see a pen. Unless specifically guided to use a certain set of words, I don’t go into any way of imparting my opinion of what something means. The well-known parable of the elephant is a perfect example of why translation is completely subjective.

Something many forget is that a session – whether it’s a healing session, a psychic session, or anything of the sort (which, at the end of the day, is one and the same thing) – is about the client, not about the practitioner! Therefore, typically, in my experience what presents itself is information specifically for the CLIENT to understand… and not necessarily me. Therefore, what good would I do if I tried to translate something for the other person, when I don’t consciously know how it relates to them? A good example I give in teaching all of this is color. Let’s take the color red. For some, the color red is angry, foreboding, and negative; for others, it can mean energy, brightness, and fun; for even others, it can mean a very high vibration of love. So, what if you have the angry and foreboding perception of red, and your client has the high vibration of love perception of it? If you see a lot of red in a session, what would happen if you used your personal translation of the color in explanation to your client? Yes, as we become more advanced, we know to consciously ask for clarity on something or if something does mean what you think it means… but it’s surprising how many do not. I’ve seen situation after situation when someone has listened to something a professional psychic or healer has said when they’ve tried to translate the message for them, instead of relaying the direct information without translations. HUGE miscommunications… and often misguidance. And that, in turn is typical because of…

Spiritual Externalization

We’ve come to a place in our 3/4D experience where the part of our consciousness that is incarnate by default has been existing from extreme externalization. “Someone else” is more _______________ – fill in the blank: gifted, intelligent, psychic, connected, knowledgeable, etc. In general, the lower ego condition here has become extremely hierarchal, exclusionary, and completely dependent on outside factors giving one power, credence, and/or value. Here’s the default for most in such an experience: If someone else declares something and sounds like they know what they’re talking about, or they use a name someone deems important in the spiritual world (and this includes “channeled beings” such as archangels, ascended masters, and/or star beings), a vast majority of the time others around them will accept what they have to say as truth completely at face value. Why? Because we perceive it’s easier, and/or that we can’t otherwise get the information ourselves… and we also believe that if “so-and-so” says it, it MUST be truth! It’s SUCH a habit that we’re barely even conscious that we do it… even when we’re practiced in this kind of access ourselves!

Going Beyond: Remembering to Access the Information Ourselves (Because We Can!)

So many doubts, self limitation… and stepping into our own power is what this mass Awakening to our Divine self is all about! In my understanding – and one of the foundations of the practice of Trinity Energy Progression – is remembrance that the Divine is INSIDE of us; that, through all of our illusion of separation in to many pieces and parts, we are all still the Divine, and we are all infinitely capable of accessing the knowledge of the Universe when we remember how to do so. Also to remember is that ego does NOT just exist on Earth; my understanding is that, as the ego’s job in the duality-/separation-based Universe has been to explore separation and identity… ALL beings with ANY identity whatsoever has some sort of ego. Therefore, there ARE egoic opinions and perceptions inserted… even from that persona. Clues to that are words that come through like mustn’t, must, have to, can’t, and anything exclusionary and stating what’s “right” or “wrong.” In the Oneness/Wholeness/Source/Spirit/Creation/etc… no such thing exists; ALL is perfect and whole. Anything that portrays “having to receive” or anything similar is based in lack, and thus duality.

Ultimately, what is taught in this practice, as it has come to me and as I teach others, is that WE are an embodied piece of consciousness of what we consider the gods, goddesses, angels, archangels, ascended masters, star beings… and it’s time we fully stepped into our OWN remembrance and power as such, WHILE we are incarnate in these perfect forms for the journey! It’s NOT that no one is “special”… it’s that ALL of us are! Yes, it’s far, far easier to give our power away, and a traditional way of hiding behind that power and self-responsibility is to fall into being “the messenger” for another face of the Divine because we find it easier and less scary. However, this perpetuation limits us, allows us to perpetuate even other levels of ego in the Universe (yes, even those who present themselves as the face of enlightened beings), it can prevent us from coming to full realization… and pushing others to do the same. When we focus on our own Divine access and help others to do the same, then we all win, together… we all can recognize the Divinity in ourselves and others. The more we all access Divine knowledge ourselves, to bring it into our own understanding, without several levels of filtration before it comes to us from the outside… then we will all progress exponentially faster and far more easily!

So, is channeling “bad”? Are messages “bad”? NO… nothing is bad (that’s a duality/separation-based perception)… it is only what it teaches/helps us to remember. I tell others that first and foremost, before becoming comfortable with accessing such information, most important is to create the habit of a fundamental connection with your own Higher Self… so you can ask, “Is this MY truth? Is this highest and best for ME?” This is actually pretty easy, with a little effort (and something that is taught in the Trinity classes). It’s a REALLY core habit for us to break the habit of letting someone else tell us what THEY think is highest and best for us!

There are an innumerable Truths in the Universe, specific to perception. If you are channeling and sharing your information, always be aware to share “It is my understanding that…” or “For you to consider…” What you perceive as Truth might not necessarily be so for someone else… AND likewise for other faces/voices of the Divine (including ALL individualized beings AND collectives), as you receive its remembrance.

There’s far more to this topic, but I’m spent with all of these words!!! So, sending it to you in a wave of understanding. See you “out there”!

Namaste,
