In the Garden…

Colby 3

A squirrel enjoying breakfast.

No matter what the size, gardens help us to reconnect – with nature, with the earth, with our selves and our higher selves.  I love walking around my patio garden in the mornings, checking on each plant and seeing what is new. There is always something that has changed or that I am just now noticing since the time before.

I enjoy my garden at any time of day, but mornings are my favorite. There’s something about the stillness of the morning that speaks to me and allows me to just BE.  It’s as though I’m the only person around for miles…and I become one with the plants, insects, and other creatures. We feel a gentle breeze together. We hear the birds chirp. We are immortal and exist solely to be what we are as we drink in the first light of daybreak. It is a wonderful time of day!

A mint blossom getting ready to bloom.

Time spent in the garden, or in any place where nature is abundant, can help you strip off the day-to-day world and let you return to the truths of your being. All of a sudden you realize that you aren’t worried about that thing at work, or what Susie said to you last Saturday, or whether you are ever going to lose those last five pounds. You simply are. And what you are is wonderful.

Contemplate the miracle of life as you watch a caterpillar hatch from its egg. Look on with amazement at how a morning glory knows to open at the beginning of the day and close at the end. See if you can follow a trail of ants and figure out where they have come from and where they are going. Some of the simplest discoveries are the most enriching. And along the way, marvel in the fact that you are a part of it all.

Although it’s not what most people think of when they hear the word meditation, I find that some of my best meditating and many deep insights come when the rest of my body is focused  on gardening. I think it’s because part of my mind has a task to focus on, which gets it out of the way and allows the rest of me to receive the information. If, like me, you have a mind that seems to run non-stop making sure you are prepared for every single minute of every day lest you forget something or are caught unawares, I suggest you try this technique; I think you will find it very rewarding! As an added benefit, once your mind becomes accustomed to feeling relaxed in your garden, it starts relaxing at other times as well. A very handy thing indeed!

The photos here are some of my most recent discoveries in my garden. I hope you enjoy them!

House For Sale: 4-2-2, 2 Living Areas, Fenced Yard

© Feverpitched | Dreamstime.com - Sold For Sale Sign Over Clouds, Grass And House PhotoNo, this is not a realtor listing… but I’ve moved! Because of my Trinity Energy Progression practice, my mind and spirit have been able to “move out” of my “4-2-2” while my 3D body still lives in my physical house.

Recently, I came across the following quote on the back of a T-shirt and it made me think of how so many obstacles have been removed through my Trinity Energy practice:

“Expansion of Awareness is the Removal of Obstacles.”

Right after receiving the training and entrainment to become a Trinity Energy Practitioner in 2012, I experienced an amazing shift. My awareness began to expand at what seemed like an exponential rate. Partitions/walls began to dissolve and fall away. I began to realize that all the rooms in my mind/spirit house that had been my spiritual home and sanctuary were instead separating me from connecting to the Divine Oneness! The stillness within that I had previously experienced in my house was now felt as a vibration of being connected with the Oneness of the Divine Consciousness. I knew that my awareness was expanding as I went deeper into my true self, and knew that feeling this new connection was possible because I was now able to “remember” the Divine Consciousness that had always been in me. I felt an incredible wholeness, expansiveness and limitlessness. I felt great joy and bliss as I experienced this homecoming to a house without partitions/walls. I was no longer limited in my ability to turn up the light of the Divine to its full brightness because of all the different rooms that I had created in which the ego felt at home:  fear, anxiety, regret, resentment, anger, guilt, doubt, sorrow, pain, drama, trauma, illness, etc.

My ego still shows up at my mind/spirit house, albeit less frequently, but I no longer have any rooms set aside for extended stays. I now live in open spaces filled with love and light where my awareness continues to expand through my Trinity Energy Progression practice.

An Ego’s Confession on the Spiritual Path

I must confess that I feel like I don’t know anything anymore. Everything that I thought I knew just does not seem right. I have lost certainty. I used to think that I had answers, but that feeling is so foreign to me currently. Discussions that were once riveting have started to fade into mindless uninteresting banter. When I listen to other people express their ideas, I am unable to find them interesting. It goes in, and all I think is that they have nothing new to share with me. Even when they are so adamant that this is the newest thing, my mind says we’ve been here before; nothing new here. When I try to listen with my heart, I get the warm feelings of “Yay! They’re coming around!” but hearing age-old ideas being presented as “new” when this information has been so easily accessible for years does not captivate my novelty-seeking mind. I try to let go of judgment when it comes to these situations, but I also find it disingenuous to rebrand concepts that were rejected earlier based on their associations.

I am feeling a bit lost and disillusioned. In order to save and liberate myself, it is time for me to be honest with others and myself. Why must I force myself to feel like I have no voice in order to protect relationships that appear to be one-sided? What am I to do when my ideas are met with accusations of proselytizing or spinning semantics? How should I feel when someone else presents the same ideas later and is met later with glorious applause? Is it my ego that is making me feel like this? I tried to convince myself of this, but this approach is leading to apathy. My ego is also responsible for my thinking that I have to check my ego so that I don’t fall out of line. My present feelings of knowing nothing anymore are a product of “turning the other cheek” over and over again.

After some introspection, the following is how I understand the relationship with the ego. Integrating the ego is not about dissolving it so that you lose your personal feelings and individuality in order to become a listless member of the hive-mind. Integrating the ego with your spiritual being means that you won’t measure your self-worth against others. It means that you will create your reality instead of reacting to the reality that is around you. It is about liberating yourself from self-limiting thoughts and behaviors. Checking your ego doesn’t mean that you cannot assert yourself while another person is leading a diatribe at your expense! A healthy ego will not let another person’s words and actions diminish your feelings of self-worth, and having a healthy ego does not mean capitulating to the other person’s ego. It’s ok to call someone out on their BS; it just may require more tact than it really should in some cases.

But what the hell do I know? I know nothing… That’s ok… Somehow I still feel like I am on my way.

Time for the “L” Word… (Ready for REAL Progression?)

Voldemort

Lord Voldemort image from imgkid.com, giova94

Lucifer, that is. Yep… that’s right. “He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named,” I guess some would say (outside of the Harry Potter world, LOL)… ESPECIALLY in spiritual circles!

Did that make you squirm? It’s DEFINITELY something to look at, then…

It’s quite an interesting observation that so, so many who consider themselves “lightworkers” never, ever, EVER align or connect themselves in any way to what we’ve created as the personification of darkness. So many claim to have ALWAYS been a “lightworker,” ALWAYS helped other people, ALWAYS been a healer. in ALL of their many, many lives…  you get the idea.

Let me interject here, first, on this topic alone… because I’m calling it. Not so!

It’s actually rather limiting (and simply convenient to the judgement-based ego) to only ever want to look at the “light” side of ourselves. We did, as the Divine expressing ourselves individually, create the perception of separation. What we consider darkness is simply different levels of separation; the darker something is considered, the more based in separation the energy of it is. All of the energies of separation – also, all of the energies and emotions of the ego – are also a part of what we consider the darkness. Resistance, fear, anxiety, regret, resentment, guilt, doubt, sorrow, pain, anger/rage, shame… anything that has anything but the complete energy of Oneness is based in separation. And, the more extreme, the more “dark” we consider it. So the “darkness” and every part of those emotions/energies… are one and the same. And we’ve carried them out in every which way, whether a little or a lot.

It’s so, so easy for us to say, “I’m the embodiment of _______” – whether it’s the Divine Mother, Archangel Raphael, Ascended Master St. Germain (or countless others) – and in that, we typically stop the searching for our experience. However, these are also masks behind which we hide… even the brightest, most enlightened individuals in existence. Because, by the way… it is my understanding that anything with an individual identity has an ego… and it is also my understanding that the ego was created to explore individuality and separation.

Why would we have created an entire existence of the perception of separation – the infinite, Divine beings that we are – without exploring it to all depths, all possibilities?

We’ve ALL explored, ALL of it.

Our traditional stance on “the battle of good vs. evil,” in the energy of fighting/resistance – simply creates more separation… and darkness… and simply perpetuates its existence. It’s time to remember that in the perception of separation that we created, we created the darkness, and it’s that part of ourselves (often called Shadow Work in spiritual circles) that it’s most, MOST important to look at straight on, accept… and LOVE, if we’re really ready to dissolve it once and for all.

Enter Lucifer. Or, rather, as I call him as I’ve experienced, Archangel Lucifer.

My active discovery, acceptance, and discussion of this topic – and the representation of this persona – started in a really, really unexpected way. Years ago, I was listening to a series of guided meditations that were put out by a group of lightworkers focused on helping all raise the vibration of the Earth for this “next phase.” I resonated with some of their meditations… I didn’t with some others. They had one called “The Resolution of Darkness”, and my guidance was to go through that particular one. So, I put my headphones on… and the guiding of the meditation took the participant to a cave, in which there was a burdened archangel in the darkness; one who had volunteered to take on the personification of the darkness, to be the reminder of what we have ALL created within ourselves, in creating ourselves. It’s been a huge job… and he was tired. The guided meditation went on – surprisingly, at the time – to thank Archangel Lucifer for taking on that role, and to release him of this duty, to bask in the light again.

Even more surprisingly – midway through this, I started sobbing uncontrollably. I felt this down to my very core… the gratitude, the love, and the wonderment of taking on the externalization of that which we have conveniently repressed away inside of ourselves.

What a healing that was!

Fast forward, a few years later, after I had been gifted with the remembrance of this amazing practice of Trinity Energy Progression™ – coming back to the remembrance of our Divine Self – to pass on and help with the resolution of duality, separation, and externalization of the Divine. This was well underway. I was contentedly on my way to acupuncture one morning, looking forward to my “out there” time on the table. I was sitting at a traffic light on the way to my acupuncturist’s office, when I heard the voice of my Higher Self say to me, “Call upon Archangel Lucifer, and ask to do a Trinity session with him.”

My first response to that was, “Say, WHAT?”

I listened for more… but all I heard was the repeat of the pretty solid direction from the Higher Consciousness. So, I tried it on for size – and then “put it on the shelf” as I continued on.  I tried to just let that go.

When I was on the acupuncture table, on my “way out” (trying to ignore the request), the voice came in even louder and more insistent.

And so I did.

I remember asking permission, asking if we could do such a session in Divine Consciousness. And, though I felt what for lack of a better word felt like a little hesitation, I did get acquiescence. I remember the session… and the melding… and it was the equivalent of feeling like I was literally weighed down with tons of weights underneath craggy, hard, cold rock. And yet, once we were “there,” even with the heaviness, we became one in the light… and as the light was “turned up,” it felt like an innumerable number of rivers of light started flowing through the rock, first in little veins, and then expanding throughout, even if it was still a bit heavy. The amazing part: At the end of this, when I was guided to stop, I felt a wave of gratitude, coming from and to me!

Shortly after this experience, I was guided to do the same a number of times, and each time, it became easier and easier, brighter and brighter.

At some point, I started “seeing” Archangel Lucifer in “light form” on occasion. In fact, there have been a handful of times that this persona has shown himself to me – in his light form – in the middle of a session, typically when a client if ready, willing, and able to look at and finally embrace/love even the darkest depths of themselves. He has explained in these sessions the purpose of the creation of “the darkness,” and separation – and how with that, we’ve created feelings, textures, colors (like the prism), everything we’ve loved experiencing through this existence. To me, he has also become the representation of the acceptance of the whole – the Oneness – regardless of what that looks like. ALL is within the Light; ALL is part of the Divine.

I know some of the most light-emanating individuals who have discovered in their self-focused development a very personal, historical relationship with Lucifer (from very different levels of consciousness)… and, though typically starting out as a VERY heavy realization, it has allowed them the core of some of their MOST accelerated spiritual growth!

melektauus

Melek Ta’us, the Peacock Angel

If we look around, there are some interesting personifications of the resolution of the darkness. Not too long ago, in discussing this experience in a class I was teaching, I was provided with a reminder of the persona of Melek Ta’us (pictured here, with a name translated as the “Peacock Angel”); a prominent deity of the Yazidi pantheon. He is considered to be the redeemed/forgiven Lucifer. The story is that he cried and collected his tears for 7,000 years, and the tears were used to douse the fires of hell.

There is SO much more to share here… when you look closely throughout history, we have embedded within much of our mythology (including that within all belief systems) hints that this vital remembrance is crucial to our progresion, ascension… or whatever you want to call it. I’ll save that discussion for another day…

The point is this: As in Harry Potter… the fear of anything ebbs when we look at it and accept it straight on. Say the name out loud; remember that Archangel Lucifer is actually “He Who MUST Be Named” – accepting the whole of ourselves – as a part of our ascension, and  include just as much gratitude for this persona in the collection of those we’ve created for the whole of this experience! If there’s resistance and judgment on that… well, then you know what’s to be focused on within YOU. Because, when we begin to REALLY “walk the walk,” and TRULY live in the remembrance that we are all One, we are ALL Light and love – even the darkest parts of us and what we’ve created – we remember that we’re ALL just as connected with and a part of Lucifer as with Jeshua or any of the other personifications of pure, Divine Consciousness… and it’s time for us to remember, accept, and love that WHOLE within ourselves, so we can “game up”!

Much love and many hugs,

Remembering Our Inner Essence

Debi's Blog, 5/10/15Being courageous enough to open your heart and share your deepest truths can be simultaneously frightening and exhilarating. My daughter, Brielle, is also a Trinity Energy Progression™ Practitioner as well as a college student studying holistic psychology. Below is one of her latest essays which she shared with me. I found it so beautifully expressed and inspiring that I asked her permission to post it on this blog. I’m constantly in awe of both her and my clients who share so deeply with me. Stepping into a place of vulnerability and honesty can be scary, but it’s how we express our true selves and see the true selves of others.

My beautiful Brielle’s essay:

I am the universe. I am the galaxies, the earth, the sun, the stars, the moon, the grass, the trees, the animals, the people, and beyond. We are all one consciousness. I believe that we all come on the earth and other planets that we do not consciously know of, lifetime after lifetime to live different experiences and to learn from them. I also believe that we exist for a reason. We all have something to offer the world and it is our goal to find out what that is.

I think that my inner calling is to help others remember their inner essence. In this reality, most people have forgotten that everything they need is already inside of them. As a whole, we have distracted ourselves from remembering why we are here and who we really are, which is divine love. I believe it is my job to guide people back to their divine consciousness. I say the word “guide” because I cannot force anyone to change. That is not my job. It is up to that person if they want to evolve or not and I can only be a vessel of guidance for them if they choose to do so. We live in a world of duality, meaning we see things as separate. For example, we say things like, “She is a girl so she should act like this” and “He is a boy so he needs to do this”. We put labels, boxes and limitations on everything around us because we need an explanation for all that is in our existence. However, when we can re-learn how to remove the veils of duality, we can understand oneness. Once we can understand this, I believe the world will change for the better. People will know that they are one with everything and everyone around them, which could lead to more compassion and companionship.

I experience my inner essence when I am in the present moment. When I only focus on the now without any worry or anxiety for my past or future, I feel at peace. I am most often in the present moment when I am doing activities that I am passionate about. This includes hiking, walking in nature, listening to music, watching movies, meditating, sunbathing, spending time with friends/family, dancing, exercising, and breathing. When I am active in these types of activities, I feel the most in touch with my inner essence. As Eckhart Tolle nicely states it in his book, The Power of Now, you can only experience “Being” when you are fully in the present moment.

You can know it only when the mind is still. When you are present, when your attention is fully and intensely in the Now, Being can be felt, but it can never be understood mentally. To regain awareness of Being and to abide in that state of “feeling-realization” is enlightenment.

One cannot experience Being on a mental level. This is because on a mental level, we are in a state of analyzing and judgment. Being in the now is simply just focusing on the present and not trying to put labels or opinions on it. The only reality we truly have is the present moment because the rest is just an illusion, so why worry about it? The past is in the past and the future does not exist. All we really have is the now.

Debi_May15_collage2I experience my “self” on several different levels including mental, physical, and emotional. On a mental level, I feel the most separate from my true being. I feel that my ego is most attached to my mental state of consciousness. When I live through my ego, I feel judgment, fear and limitations. I doubt myself and live in a false sense of reality. This is also where my shadow side lives. When I think on a mental level, I am not in the present moment. I think about all of my mistakes in the past, the things I do not like about myself, and I doubt my potentials. My shadow sides are my demons that I have stored into my cellular memory. This means that I have these negative feelings that I carry around inside of me, without necessarily being conscious of them. I sometimes believe what my ego tells me, which limits me from being my full and amazing self.

My physical state of consciousness is based on duality. On this level, I would say that my name is Brielle, I am a female, I am 5’9’’ and I am 20 years old. Although these things may be considered true on a physical level, it is not who I am at the core of my being. In reality, I am a never-dying energy, living this experience. When my physical body dies, my energy, or soul, simply leaves my body and continues on. I sometimes forget this truth and instead live in a state of dualism.

On an emotional level, I develop different feelings based on my experiences. Just like everyone, I experience an entire spectrum of emotions depending on how I react to a situation. I feel happiness, sadness, joy, grief, excitement, anger, compassion and even emotions that cannot be put into words. I have these emotions because I am human. They help me grow and learn, even if I do not know that in the moment when I feel them. If we did not have emotions, our world would be boring. They help us shape who are on all levels of being and they allow us to express ourselves. In our society, we have put a lot of shaming on emotions, especially for men. If you cry or are upset, you are considered weak. If you openly talk about or show your feelings, most people think you are either pathetic or you want attention. However, this is far from the truth. If people bottle-up their emotions, they can seriously damage themselves on a cellular level, which can manifest illness on a physical level. Men in particular tend to hide their emotions, which is why so many of them hold anger within. Emotions are supposed to be felt. It allows us to reflect on why we are feeling that way, which helps us grow and expand. Instead of avoiding our emotions, we must learn to honor them and move through them.

When I feel any type of emotion, I observe why I am feeling that way, and I thank it no matter what it is because it is teaching me lessons and allowing me to become more of my authentic self. This is how I let my essence and my “self” get along. If I am going to feel these so-called negative emotions, I have learned that I should let them be felt so that my true self can flourish. However, the emotions that we consider negative are not actually negative because they are necessary. If we only felt good emotions, we would not appreciate them or even recognize that they are good. We need “bad” to feel “good” and vice versa. Everything is all about balance. Every yin needs a yang to balance it out.

Although all emotions are necessary since that is how humans are built, I believe the only true reality is love. The rest is part of the ego. As Dr. Wayne Dyer once said, “The components of anxiety, stress, fear, and anger do not exist independently of you in the world. They simply do not exist in the physical world, even though we talk about them as if they do”. Although negative emotions are inevitable in the human experience, they are not part of our inner essence. We need to view our emotions from a higher perspective so that instead of attaching ourselves to them and making ourselves sick, we can simply learn from them, appreciate them, and move on.

In this time and age, our culture revolves around technology. When I first started to think about the impact that technology has on us, I strongly felt that it has caused us to become very disconnected from others and ourselves. I thought that technology was ruining our ability to fully live the human experience in the present moment. I felt that it was only destroying us and had no potential to help us expand to a higher consciousness. Although this may be true in some cases, I have gained a different perspective on technology. It has allowed us to talk to people anywhere in the world and it has saved countless lives in the medical field. Technology has the ability to do amazing things in the world if we learn to use it correctly. We can use it properly by creating networks of people who want to make a difference in the world as well as share ideas and positivity on all social networks. Technology is the new way of our culture and I do not think it is going to go away. It is only going to become more complex, which is why I believe our culture needs to use it for the good instead of allowing us to become disconnected from the real world.

Debi_May15Additionally, I often become frustrated with our culture. In the Western world, we need tangible proof of everything before we can believe it. This is so incredibly limiting! I understand the logic that if something is not guaranteed to work or if something cannot be understood, then why bother. However, it amazes me that people truly think that they are separate from everything else. I also get upset about the way humans treat each other. Why would you want to hurt someone else on a mental, physical or emotional level when ultimately that person is a part of you? I think the answer to this question is because of two reasons. The first reason is because people tend to take their anger, fear and pain out on other people as a way to cope with their feelings. The second reason is because most people have forgotten that we are all connected. When you hurt another, you are also hurting yourself. We are all a reflection of each other, which is why I believe kindness and compassion are the best qualities in a person.

With all of this being said, I can view our culture in one of two ways. I can either become angry with people and judge them for not understanding what I have come to understand about life, or I can just shine my light and guide others to a higher state of consciousness. It is all about perception. There is no point in me getting angry with others because then I would be thinking through my ego, which is not who I truly am. If I view people in an all-loving way with compassion and understanding, I am much better off. One of the biggest lessons I have learned is not taking anything personally. The only reason a person treats another poorly is because they are feeling some sort of pain or fear within themselves. If everyone felt whole and self-love all of the time, they would have no reason to hurt others. That is why I now do my best to come from a place of understanding when someone treats me poorly instead of taking offense to it. Also, we all think differently. My experience is not the same as other people’s experiences, so they do not think how I think. This is one of the most common mistakes that people make, which is that everyone should think like they do and if they do not, then offense is taken. In one of my favorite books, “The Four Agreements”, Don Miguel Ruiz talks a lot about not taking anything personally.

Nothing other people do is because of you. It is because of themselves. All people live in their own dream, in their own mind; they are in a completely different world from the one we live in. When we take something personally, we make the assumption that they know what is in our world, and we try to impose our world on their world. Even when a situation seems so personal, even if others insult you directly, it has nothing to do with you. What they say, what they do, and the opinions they give are according to the agreements they have in their own minds. Their point of view comes from all the programming they received during domestication.

This had helped me a lot when dealing with other people who intentionally or unintentionally hurt me. When I can use this lesson in actual situations, I am able to let go of any negativity that I start to feel and go into a higher perspective, which has served me well.

I know that I need to let go of self-judgment and self-doubt in regards to my relationship between my essence, my “self’ and my culture. When I judge and doubt myself, I am allowing my ego to overpower my essence, which limits me from being who I really am. I think that I have these negative feelings because there are moments in my life where I feel less capable and powerful than everyone else. I doubt myself, which I know I need to let go of in order to feel at one with the universe. I feel this way when I am stressed, when I am fearful, when I am not living in the moment, and when I feel that others do my respect my opinions. This is all part of my ego and it creates a false sense of reality for me. I am aware that I need to work on these limitations, which is my next step towards expanding my consciousness.

Being aware of your thoughts and observing them though a non-judgmental lens is alone a very powerful step towards healing, which I have already begun. I need to learn how to fully honor and love myself. I will do this by taking enough time to care for my body’s needs and learning how to let go of living through my ego. Additionally, I need to become less of a people pleaser. When I live my life trying to please others, I end up tending to their needs instead of mine, which limits me from being my beautiful and fabulous self. It is important to help others once you help yourself first. As my mom always says, “You can’t pour from an empty vessel”, meaning you have to fill yourself up first before you can fill up others. I believe my calling is to help wake others up and guide them to remembering who they really are.

We all have the ability to heal ourselves when we look within rather than outside of ourselves for answers. We are powerful beings;  we are capable of doing anything we set our minds to.

Shine on And enjoy! Debi
